3rd Newbury Scout Group: Scouts

3rd Newbury Scouts are Girls and Boys aged between 10½ and 14 years old. Scouts enjoy a wide variety of activities and have the opportunity to gain awards and badges whilst having fun and enjoying friendship.

Scouts can be found all over the world, and there are more than 28 million, from Aberdeen to Timbuctoo! Join the adventure...

3rd Newbury Scouts enjoy a varied and balanced programme of Activities these include:

• Weekend Camps
• Adventurous activities
• First Aid
• Games
• Days Out
• Nights Away
• Cooking
• Hikes
• 69 Activity Badges to work towards 9 Challenge Badges
• And much, much more

The Scout Promise is "On my honour, I promise that I will do my best to do my duty to God and to the Queen, to help other people and to keep the Scout Law."

We meet on a Thursday evening between the times of 7.00 and 9.00 term times only at Shaw Scout Hut, Poplar Place, Shaw, Newbury, Berkshire.

We have a strong, friendly Leadership Team, who are always happy to welcome new members.
